April 11 - Vacaville, California - well today was a rest day - we finally did laundry this morning then headed out - 29 C , sunny with a few fluffy white clouds, decide to spend day just putzing around Vacaville.  Sightseeing and taking note of interesting things:  at intersections when making a left turn can also do a u turn which is really cool,  Classic car heaven - original colours also, went to local library which was lovely, queit and well used my kind of place. went to one of those premium outlet places and walked around enjoying weather.  Went back to hotel and changed for our dinner out - parked the car in the shade and when we went out at 5pm it was 31 C in the shade - hmmm.  Met more people that flew in from Florida for the celebration of life - they found it cold here!!!!  Ate at an Italian restaurant called Pietro's - had pizza - it was great.  Made plans to go to an iris farm tomorrow, haven't made it to Napa Valley yet - just want quick drive through part of it - Tomorrow night is BBQ then Saturday afternoon is the event.  No photos today but will definitely have some from tomorrow.  Oh by the way the people from Florida and California agree that we Canadians have an accent and say aboot - who knew.
